Milkiland production facilities were included into the list of Ukrainian dairy producers cleared to export to European Union

In a view of Free Trade Zone agreement between Ukraine and EU coming into the force on January, 1, 2016, Directorate Generale SANCO of European Commission published a list of Ukrainian dairy facilities that have passed relevant audits and were cleared to export to EU starting from 10 January 2016. Three production facilities controlled by two subsidiaries of Milkiland Group, namely, Romny dairy combine and Mena cheese plant, were included into this list. 

Comment by Anatoliy Yurkevych, CEO, Milkiland N.V.:

“The obtainment of clearance for export to EU is the result of consecutive efforts of our specialists aimed at the implementation of best international quality management and food safety standards and respective action plans submitted by SANCO experts in the production facilities of Milkiland Group.

We’re going to fully use the new export possibilities by supplying Milkiland’s Ukrainian made dairy products to EU market, including within the quotas agreed under the FTZ between Ukraine and European Union.

We expect, that getting the above mentioned clearance will additionally confirm the high quality of our dairy produce and support our expansion in the third countries markets outside the EU, including in MENA region”.
